Shoulder injury update and more

Posted by zimie - 11 days ago

So after getting hurt back in March, I was doing physical therapy which didn't prove to do anything. Found out I have pretty bad ripped tendon and a ligament that normally goes thru it and thru the rotor cuff, is loose and also causing massive pains. So I'll be getting my first surgery on the 22nd.

But at least for the last couple months, I've been able to keep drawing so i could get as much work on collab projects so i didn't have to worry about it. One of them is an animation that i finally have something so I just started to do storyboarding and blocking. And you can see I've also posted an animation here that I started back in January. Its not perfect but its a personal accomplishment. I do have some BTS stuff I'm want to post up and for now I'm posting them on my patreon that isn't public atm.

I also been doodling and been more social in discord servers which has helped with my social anxiety. I also have done doodles of Max Gilardi/ Hotdiggitydemon, which I think I've posted on twitter and tumblr, along with his discord server. Which has helped with some current event stuff with my dad but it should be over, but too early to tell.

Anyways, I'll be posting a few piece in the coming days/months but any new stuff probably wont be happening until late June/July but that's also wishful thinking.

Well that is horrible I am sorry about your shoulder

Oh man hope you have a quick recovery can get back to drawin again soon nuff :)

My condolences about your injury. Just, don't push yourself too hard. Unless your ambidextrous. Then go for it you don't even need both arms.

I don’t know you, but best wishes for a speedy recovery, stranger! And I’ll be cheering for your self-confidence journey!

Biggest thing I learned from a therapist on how to tackle my anxiety is to just take small steps outside my comfort zone, over and over, until I get used to taking risks. Which seems to be what you’re doing! Looks like you’re on the right track!

Have a quick recover.
